Now starting at just $15 monthly, DreamHost’s VPS offerings have ditched antiquated “spinning rust” in favor of lightning-fast Solid State Drives (SSDs) which, in lab testing, have shown to be twenty times faster than traditional SATA drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DreamHost’s Virtual Private Servers now include 1GB of RAM and 30GB of SSD storage for as little as $15 per month \u2013 more than tripling the previous amount of included RAM \u2013 without a price increase. Resources can be scaled on-demand as users’ needs grow to ensure they’re never made to pay for a higher level of service than they actually need. This platform refresh also marks the end of Debian Linux on VPS instances at DreamHost. Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS is now the standard distribution included with all new DreamHost Virtual Private Servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
